How it works

  1. STEP 1

    Post your job for free

Tell hauliers what needs moving, where it is going and when. No card is needed to post.

  2. STEP 2

    Compare your quotes

Review prices, haulier profiles and feedback before choosing who to work with.

  3. STEP 3

    Accept and arrange transport

Accept a quote to unlock contact details. No fee on any job until 1 January 2027. After that, a small capped introduction fee: £5 first time, then 3% (max £30). Arrange transport and pay the haulier directly. Use Report a problem on the job before the displayed three-day deadline if something goes wrong.

No fee on any job until 1 January 2027. After that, a small capped introduction fee: £5 first time, then 3% (max £30). Until then, accepting a quote unlocks contact details with no card payment. From 1 January 2027 you see your fee before paying. The transport price is paid separately to the haulier. For new bookings, use Report a problem before the deadline three full days after delivery. That is not an automatic refund. After we look into it, the job is completed, carried on with a new agreed date, or cancelled with a full refund of the HaulNet fee (if one was charged) to your original payment method (usually 5–10 business days). This covers our fee only; statutory rights are unaffected.

A few useful answers

What if the haulier does not carry out the job?

Use Report a problem on the job before the displayed deadline, three full days after the agreed delivery date. That pauses automatic completion while we look into it. A report is not an automatic refund. After we look into it, the job is completed, carried on with a new agreed date, or cancelled with a full refund of the HaulNet fee to your original payment method (usually 5–10 business days). We cannot refund money paid to the haulier. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Who do I pay for the haulage?

The haulier, directly. No fee on any job until 1 January 2027. After that, a small capped introduction fee: £5 first time, then 3% (max £30).

What if nobody quotes?

You pay nothing. There is no fee unless you accept a quote.

What checks do you do on hauliers?

Document uploads are optional. Hauliers can quote without verification and show a Not verified badge. A Verified documents badge means we checked their required insurance (goods-in-transit, and hire-and-reward vehicle insurance if they ticked O-licence not needed) and either their current O-licence or their declaration that an O-licence is not needed for their work; it is not a guarantee of performance or cover for every job.

When do I get the haulier's contact details?

After you accept a quote. Until 1 January 2027 there is no introduction fee, so contact details unlock as soon as you accept. From 1 January 2027, details unlock after the fee payment is confirmed.
